All of the PROPOLAIR DEVICES by Kontak diffuse Propolis in the air we breathe. Propolis is a natural resin secreted by trees, and collected and transformed by bees. It has powerful anti-oxydent, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
Scientific studies have shown a 71.3% reduction in microbes in the air after just 3 days of use of a Propolair device in a room (Biologi Italiani, 1996).
The PROPOL THERAPY is designed for therapeutic use. It is an excellent air purifier AND allows you to breathe natural propolis directly through a mask.
PROPOL THERAPY has two setting functions:
1. ROOM SETTING : Cleaning of your immediate surroundings with the gentle diffusion of the volatile particules of propolis.This model also has a fan, to sanitize the air in a larger space (up tp 60 m² - 645 sq ft) than the models without fan (25 m² - 269 sq ft).
2. AEROSOL SETTING : Breath high quality Italian Propolis directly through a mask on aerosol setting, to help your respiratory system. The propolis breathed through the mask reaches directly your lungs, bronchioles and alveolus, acting in these hard to reach places. It helps healing infections in the lungs, build immunity to allergies and clean accumulated deposits. This make those diffusers a precious ally to help people with COPD, asthma, allergies, breathing insufficiency, bronchitis, and many other respiratory diseases.
This model also has a built-in ionizer, that charges the propolis volatile particules negatively, so they target and neutralise the viruses, bacterias, mold, pollutants, dust, airborne microbes that are all positively charged in the air, acting like a magnet.
It allows the propolis molecules to have more efficiency sanitizing the air we breathe.
The ionizer function can be turned ON or OFF according to your needs.
The ionizer used in this model, is a LOW emission ionizer, which does not require maintenance and does not produce ozone.
The models with the ionizer offer greater sanitization and are indicated for example in case of problems of bronchial and allergic asthma, since, if breathed, negative ions stimulate the movement of the bronchial eyelashes thus reactivating lung ventilation.
This model also comes with a connecting tube and 2 masks : a small one adapted to children and a big one adapted to adults.
When choosing the AEROSOL mode, you can focus the entire benefits of inhaling propolis directly in your respiratory system though the mask instead of having it diffused in the air around you.
When set on ROOM mode, the integrated fan allows to sanitize a larger space, up to 60 square meters/645 square feet. If you want to use it as a whole house air purifier, it is definitely the Propolair model you should look at. The L3 wooden model is the other option to cover large spaces.

When FAN is OFF, the surface coverage is 30 square meters/323 square feet.
It is possible to activate the sound it makes when the propolis capsule needs to be changed, when turning the device on/off, when pressing on the different buttons.
