All of the PROPOLAIR DEVICES made by Kontak in Italy diffuse Propolis in the air we breathe. Propolis is a natural resin secreted by trees, and collected and transformed by bees. It has powerful anti-oxydant, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

The BREATHE diffuser is a genuine Italian design and fits beautifully in homes or offices, waiting rooms, shops and small public spaces. They share the same working process and efficacy as the A2 model, purifying the air in a closed space, such as a bedroom (to use at night) or an office (to use during the day), that has up to 30 m² (323 square feet) surface.
The propolis released in the air reaches our lungs, bronchioles and alveolus, acting in these hard to reach places. It helps healing infections in the lungs, build immunity to allergies and clean accumulated deposits. This model also has a built-in ionizer. Through ionization, propolis particules entering the air are negatively charged to attract and neutralise positively charged molecules, such as viruses, bacterias, mold spores, pollutants, dust, airborne microbes, smoke, acting like a magnet. It allows the propolis molecules to have more efficiency when naturally sanitizing the air we breathe.
The ionizer used in this model, is a LOW emission ionizer, which does not require maintenance and does not produce ozone.
The models with the ionizer offer greater sanitization and are indicated for example in case of problems of bronchial and allergic asthma, since, if breathed, negative ions stimulate the movement of the bronchial eyelashes thus reactivating lung ventilation.
